"Yes?"

"What are you getting her, un?" Sasori cocked an eyebrow, silently demanding for him to explain his vague question. "It's (y/n)'s birthday next week!" Deidara exclaimed. Sasori's eyes widened for a millisecond. What? "Sasori no Danna, you occasionally creep into her room to check on her designs (and to ogle at her underwear)," Sasori spluttered, indignant, "Yet you don't even know when her birthday is?" Sasori sighed and glared at Deidara.

"I don't know when her birthday is, because I do not care," Sasori said coldly, "It is useless information." He got up from his seat and walked of in a huff. Before he exited the room, he called back out to Deidara,

"And I do not look at her underwear."

Ugly present, ugly present, ugly present, ugly present, he thought as he was looking through a gift shop. Yes, he was looking for something to give to you on your birthday - that brat Deidara, making him feel guilty. Having looked through a wide array of flowers, jewellery and things to tinker with, he pretty much gave up. As he 'walked' back home (in the puppet of Hirako), he felt depressed. Surely there was something he could get you... wasn't there?

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY (Y/N)-SEMPAI~~" Tobi cheered. Deidara flinched - damn, Tobi could be so loud sometimes.

"Happy birthday!" Deidara said in a perfectly normal decibel. You cut the cake (which happened to be (f/flavour) ice cream cake) and held the first slice to Tobi, before he would start begging for cake.

"Here, Tobi!" You said, smiling. Tobi hugged you, almost squishing the cake, then took the said food. 

"Thanks (y/n)-sempai!" Tobi said. You cut another slice and handed it to Deidara. He nodded thanks, then he began eating it. Finally, you could eat. You stabbed your fork on one, and you ate it. Wowww~ It had just the right amount of sweetness - not enough to make you cringe, and not too little to make you unsatisfied. The ice-cream was also nice and cold, which added to the pleasure.

"(y/n)-gakusei." You turned around. Sasori stood in the doorway, tilting his head. You smiled.

"Hello there, Sasori-sensei."

Deidara's gift was a clay bird (you had to make him swear this one wouldn't explode) and Tobi's was a... llama? You had no idea how to keep it, but you called it Toby. It was Sasori's turn, and you honestly did not expect a present from him. He mumbled, clearly uncomfortable, and handed you a....
